SYNOPSIS Hidden among the Galician mountains is Vilar do Courel, a small village that has resisted disappearing for decades. Its last three inhabitants are the guardians of a timeless space, navigating their past and looking to their future from an empty, immobile, and fragile present. With the arrival of Branca from Barcelona, reality begins to change. At night, memories, dreams of the past and ancient legends guide the characters through magical forests and forgotten paths.
Paula Fuentes, Guillermo Carrera
They met while studying Film at ESCAC in Barcelona. Both are Galicians, Paula born in 2001 and raised in a small village in Serra do Courel, Lugo, and Guillermo in Ponteareas, Pontevedra. After completing their studies at ESCAC, Paula pursued a master's Degree in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies at Pompeu Fabra University and is currently doing a postgraduate program in Video Editing at UPF Barcelona School of Management. Guillermo is currently pursuing a master's degree in Theatrical Creation at the Carlos III University of Madrid. Corre o vento is their first short film.
