SYNOPSIS After winning the Young European Chef 2022 Award, Pau Sintes goes back to his homeland, Menorca, where he lays out the culinary future of his dear island. Pau is the heir of family recipes that go back a couple generations, dishes sprouted from his mother language, his culture and the products of his land.

He is a young film director and producer from Menorca, Spain. He explores universal topics like love and heartbreak through human relationships. He uses Catalan, his mother language, to shape and develop his intricate plots. He leans towards introspection and queerness when it comes to character writing, and he has a special predisposition for teenage stories due to the cruciality of this phase in human beings. He directed his first short film,
Sol sol, at the age of 18. This led to the formation of the production company Ensoldemà Films. The film took part of plus forty international film festivals and is currently part of Filmin’s permanent catalogue. Through Ensoldemà Films he has produced his shorts films
Ramat in 2022 and
The Taste of Memories in 2023.
