SYNOPSIS 'Growing old is inevitable, maturing is optional' is the maxim of 'el Alber', a rapper who at 44 years old enrolls in university because of a bet with his father. If he doesn't pass all of them, he'll have to leave 'that rap nonsense' for good. At university, Alber meet again with Amaia, a radio announcer and professor there, and discovers that he was missing something very important in his life: love.

David Galán Galindo He is passionate about comics and hip hop. Matusalén is his second solo feature film. Nominated for a Goya for his first feature film, Orígenes secretos, 2020, based on his own novel, which was No. 1 on Netflix and was nominated for three Goya awards (best adapted screenplay, special effects, makeup and hairstyling). The press called it "The best superhero movie of the year" (Javier Zurro, El Español). He was also nominated for a Goya award for best animated film for Gora automatikoa. In theater, he has written the shows En su cabeza era espectacular and Hecho a mano by Pantomima Full and Mucha tontería by Berto Romero. As a comic book author, he is the creator of Sargento Resines together with Salva Espín and this March he launches Pro, a superhero comic for Panini, Marvel’s publishing house in Spain.
