Santi Amodeo
Seville, 27 June 1969. He is a Spanish film director, screenwriter and musician. In his early career, he teamed up with Alberto Rodríguez, also from Andalusia, in films such as the short
Bancos and
El factor Pilgrim. In 2004, he was nominated for best new director at the Goya Awards for the film
Astronautas. In 2006 he directed the feature film
Cabeza de Perro, which won the award for best actor Juanjo Ballesta at the Shanghai Festival. In 2013, he wrote and directed
¿Quién mató a Bambi?, produced by Rodar y Rodar. With his production company Grupo Tranquilo PC, he has directed the feature films
Yo, mi mujer y mi mujer muerta in 2019 and
Las gentiles in 2021, which participated in the official section of the Tallinn and Seville festivals.
