SYNOPSIS The thrones of Holy Week walk the avenues of Malaga as a beautiful memory, a mirage of our feelings and actions. In San Agustin Street, a new love blooms, lost in the thoughts of a young dreamer.
Francis Báez Almendro Born in Málaga in 2000, he is directing his third fiction short film, following Violeta in 2021 and Hora del té in 2023, both of which were selected for festivals such as Luna de Cortos, Ojo Indómito and Festival Internacional Noctámbulo de Cine Fantástico en Córdoba, Spain. In his latest work, Calle San Agustín, he explores the traditions of Holy Week as a poignant memory, a mirage of our emotions and actions.
FILMOGRAPHY Hora del té (short film, 2023), Violeta (short film, 2021)
