SYNOPSIS In a small town in the Colombian Andes, a man appears one night, returning from a premature and violent death. His presence revolutionizes the town, but soon the celebration turns into fear. The police takes him to jail. He is soon released, then successively kidnapped, pursued by a mob of fanatics and buried. After his repeated and stubborn returns, his mother and sister must flee with him in the middle of the night.

Mauricio Cuervo Rincón Screenwriter, director and producer. His works have been shown at film festivals such as Rio de Janeiro, Warsaw, Clermont Ferrand, Annecy, Guadalajara, Rio de Janeiro and Palms Springs, among others. He co-directed the short film Coffee Break and produced the short film Todo es culpa de la sal, both of which received awards at various film festivals. He was also the screenwriter for the Colombian feature films Silencio en el paraíso and Antes del fuego, both of which were also recognized at several film festivals. Crónica del fin del mundo, his first film as a director, was awarded Best Film at the Bogotá Film Festival, among other awards, and it was released in several countries.
