SYNOPSIS What drives people from different backgrounds to come together and revive a medieval legacy? In Elche, Alicante, the Misteri d’Elx lives on as the only surviving example of medieval theater known as "Mysteries." Every August, locals from all walks of life become guardians—templars—of this treasure that reconnects them with their identity and history. A journey through time that shows the Festa is not only a UNESCO World Heritage site but also an integral part of who they are.
