SYNOPSIS When a German citizen is found dead near the port of Las Palmas, Inspector Nina Weiss of the BKA is required to collaborate with Sergeant Raúl Morales of the Guardia Civil. Although their personalities and methods clash from the start, they must join forces if they want to solve the case. Set in the Canary Islands, this 'southern noir' follows Weiss and Morales as they investigate crimes in a community of Germans and Canarians, exploring the island's hidden corners in each episode.

He’s behind the scenes of some of the most notable TV series in Spain in recent years. This is the case with
Pulseras rojas, for which he directed six episodes, leaving a mark on several generations when it premiered in 2011. More recently, he did the same with
Entrevías, one of the most-watched series during its three seasons aired to date. His television career began to take shape in 2009 with the premiere of the comedy
Pelotas. Since then, he has continuously worked on highly successful projects. Ferrer is known not only for his vast experience but also for his narrative versatility: he directed historical series such as
Isabel, a portrayal of Queen Isabel I of Castile, broadcast in 80 countries; and
Carlos, rey emperador, which tells the story of Emperor Charles I of Spain.

She is one of the most promising young talents in Spain's audiovisual industry today. Born in Galicia in 1994, she made her debut in 2016 with her first short film,
Cuna. Then she created two more:

O neno sardiña, before transitioning to television in 2023 with Portocabo. That year, she directed 10 episodes of the youth series
Los Argonautas y la moneda de oro, which premiered on RTVE and TVG. In 2024, she directed episode 3 of the TV series
Weiss & Morales (RTVE, Portocabo, Nadcom, and ZDF). Currently, she is working on her first feature film,
As defensas, as well as a new short film,
Unha redacción sobre o verán. In 2021, she won the Mestre Mateo Award for the web series
Xan.
