SYNOPSIS In 2026, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Paco Rabal's birth and the 25th anniversary of his death. This presents an opportunity to review his professional contribution to Spanish and international cinema, as he may be the Spanish actor who has worked in the most countries and with directors such as Buñuel, Chabrol, Antonioni, Ripstein, and Visconti, not forgetting Spaniards like Saura, Camus, Armiñán, Bardem, and Almodóvar, given the invaluable mark he left on Spanish cinema.
Vanesa Benítez
A Seville-based filmmaker with a background in film and television documentaries. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Seville and a master's degree in audiovisual management from MEGA. She has worked on various TV programs and departments and has been producing through her own company for years. She has received numerous awards at festivals (Imagenera, Alcances, Espiello), including a Goya nomination.
