SYNOPSIS Andrea’s son has been imprisoned, and she must visit the prison for the first time to see him. Upon arriving, she meets other “women in the line,” who are initially hostile toward her. Over time, those same women will become the ones who give her the strength she needs to face her struggle.

Benjamín Ávila Argentine director and screenwriter, known for his films with a strong authorial identity and social commitment. His work explores memory, human rights, and the intimate consequences of political processes. His films and series include Clandestine Childhood (Cannes), December 2001 (Martín Fierro Best Series), and The Woman in the Line (Golden Martin Fierro). His stories combine a sensitive and human perspective with a deep connection to real stories and testimonies.
