SYNOPSIS A portrait, with its artists, lights and shadows, from the most popular actor in the history of spanish cinema. Alfredo Landa’s story is unique, because he gathered throughout his career the affection of the public, combined with the highest critics and awards, as well as from everyone sharing his profession. From “landismo” as a genre of cinema, going through the time of his greatest roles, and culminating with the person behind the actor, presenting unpublished material and the testimonies of the people closest to Alfredo.
Gracia Querejeta Film and TV director, with a degree in Geography and History from Complutense University and studies in Dance, the daughter of producer Elías Querejeta. She found her calling at a young age and debuted as an actress at the age of 13 in Emilio Martínez Lázaro's What Max Said. She began working as an Assistant Director and, in 1987, directed her first short film, Tres en la marca. Some of her films include A Passing Season (1992), Robert Rylands' Last Journey (1995), Héctor (2004), Seven Billiard Tables (2007), 15 Years and One Day (2012), Happy 140 (2014), Wave of Crimes (2017), Invisibles (2020), and, in 2025, La buena suerte. She has worked on series such as Cuéntame cómo pasó, Madres. Amor y vida... Miguel Olid Doctor cum laude in Film History, he is the author of several books on Spanish and Latin American cinema. He has written for more than 30 years in the press, including ABC, ABC Cultural, El País, Babelia, El País Semanal, Cinemanía, and La Razón, among many other publications. He has delivered numerous lectures on cinema at universities and film schools in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Albania, the Philippines, the United States, and Canada. He conducted a documentary filmmaking workshop organized by the Embassy of Spain in Manila and the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
