SYNOPSIS After being sexually abused during a massage, actress Bárbara Mestanza transforms her trauma into art, a raw, fearless theater play. Confronting the question: “Why didn’t you do anything?” she embarks on a powerful journey to find her aggressor, challenge toxic masculinity, and reclaim justice on her own terms.

She began her acting career at the age of 12. After working in film, tv and theater with roles in
Mercado Central or
La Moderna, she started a band called The Mamzelles. In 2021 she won the Catalan Playwriting Award and wrote
Sucia, her most intimate and risky project, which also inspired a novel published by Penguin RHM.
