SYNOPSIS A family man, cornered by debt, decides to take advantage of a coincidence and an unpredictable circumstance to disappear. After many years of living away from his country under a false identity, a chance discovery provides the irresistible temptation of wanting to know how the people of his town have moved on in his absence. The question becomes an obsession: Can an entire life disappear and be forgotten? Can you start from scratch and never look back?

Sebastián Borensztein Screenwriter and film director. He has stood out with 6 feature films: La suerte está echada, Sin memoria, Un cuento chino, Kóblic, La odisea de los giles, and Descansar en paz. Awarded with two Goya Awards from the Academy of Cinema of Spain, a Sur Award from the Academy of Sciences and Cinematographic Arts of Argentina, and a Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro. Recognized with awards from the International Film Festival of Rome, the Rainer Werner Fassbinder Award, the Reiner Fassbinder Camera Award, the Discovery Award of the French Critics, and best film at the Latin Film Festival of Toulouse. Highlighted by the Konex Foundation of Argentina as one of the top five directors of the decade in 2000, 2010 and 2021.
