SYNOPSIS Motherlands (Amas da Terra) is a social and cultural project by the renowned chef Lucía Freitas that takes the form of an audiovisual thread to present four of its protagonists. They are the farmer and market seller Pilar Álvarez, the shellfish gatherer Adela Lestón, the cows farmer Ana Corredoira, and the wine grower Esther Teijeiro, all fundamental producers who represent (respectively) the vegetable garden, the sea, the countryside and the memory-essence, and who symbolize the 4 pillars of Lucía's cuisine and philosophy.
