Marziyeh Riahi She was born in Tehran, Iran. She is editor-in-chief of Short Film News, Asia’s first website specializing in short films and documentaries. Her debut short film Driving Lessons was eligible for the 92nd Oscar Academy Awards in 2020. She is also a member of The Network for Promotion of Asian & Asia Pacific Cinema, NETPAC, and member of Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association, ISFCW. She graduated in Cinema from the University of Applied Science and Technology in Tehran and graduated in film directing from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, IYCS.
