SYNOPSIS An elderly woman, with difficulties in the digital world, has her routine interrupted when her television screen turns blue and displays an error message: "Update required". In search of a solution, she walks through the corridors of a bazaar until, suddenly, darkness envelops her, and the metallic sound of a blind signals the closing. She’s trapped. A disturbing experience about isolation and oblivion begins.
Elixabet Nuñez
Born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, in 1987. She studied Audiovisual Production at the Official RTVE Institute, later specializing in plastic arts and design applied to costume styling at the Arte10 school in Madrid. She has been working on films and series as a costume designer for more than 10 years.
A-Maniki is her debut short film as a director and screenwriter.
