SYNOPSIS Crossing the vast outskirts of the big city we can glimpse that after the great catastrophes of the future there will still be room for the promise of a new youth, perhaps the last.
Nicolás Fernández-Montes Cuberta Born in Madrid in 2001. He studied Documentary Film at ECAM and is a member of the film collective El Hechizado, alongside Miguel Ariza and Ignacio Peñalver. He has directed short films both in and out of film school, also working as a producer on others. His projects tend to vary in form and style, developed by small teams and they are halfway between traditional fiction and formal experimentation, with an interest in improvisation, post-humor and genre play. He has been part of the selection committee for the Another Way Film Festival 2023 and the programming team of Cinezeta. He currently works for the distribution company Vértigo Films. FILMOGRAPHY Los jóvenes andan (short film, 2024), Imágenes capitales (short film, 2023), Me ciega tanto como si fuera real (short film, 2022), Ahora que estamos todos (short film, 2022)
