A group of young people enlist in a rigorous military training at the Peruvian Air Force. They aspire to become ‘warriors’ and long for the moment of real combat. They embark on a journey that transforms them from adventurous youths to soldiers. Amidst the harshness of the secretive military world, compassion and mutual care blossom between them.
Paolo Tizón
Peruvian director who resides between Peru and Spain. His work has been showcased at important festivals such as the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Doclisboa, the Morelia International Film Festival, MoMA's Doc Fortnight, the Cairo International Film Festival, among others. He studied the Creation program at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in 2023 and has directed a couple of short films previously. His first feature film is titled
Vino la noche and is currently on a festival circuit. It premiered in 2024 at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the
Proxima Competition section, where it won the Special Jury Prize and the FIPRESCI Award for Best Film in the section.
