SYNOPSIS Lucas is a fisherman. He goes into the native forest on the banks of the Uruguay River and the Negro River to photograph the fishermen's camps and their profession. His goal is to make a photo report of that universe so personal to him, to turn it into a photo book that portrays his reality. While his project grows, Lucas finds himself as an artist, while building his gaze.
Pablo Martínez Pessi
Born in 1980 in Uruguay. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and is a film producer, director, editor, and teacher. He has directed the following documentaries:

Into The River in 2025. His films have been showcased and awarded at numerous international festivals, with three being chosen as Best Uruguayan Documentary. He has received grants from prestigious foundations, organizations, and international festivals to support his projects.
