SYNOPSIS Júlia takes her two daughters to spend the summer in an isolated commune in Seville. While Isabel, the older sister, adapts to the new environment, Elia is dealing with the recent abandonment of her father. A mysterious ritual makes all the women disappear, including Isabel and her mother, leaving Elia alone and desperate to find them.
Jimena R. Herrera
Graduated from ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuales de Catalunya) in screenwriting and film directing, she has focused her work on representing spaces and realities through memory, from a feminine perspective and collective identity. Her style of “raw magical” realism reflects a fascination for childhood and early maturity, always with a personal sense of identity.
Romance de la luna, luna is her debut film, supported by the Málaga Film Festival and awarded the Ayuda de Creación Audiovisual 2024 prize, marking the beginning of her career as a director and screenwriter.
