SYNOPSIS Santiago Sierra, internationally recognized for his provocative works, is an artist who breaks boundaries. His projects denounce social, economic and political injustices, generating uncomfortable debates.
Sierra uses action, performance, video and photography to denounce the brutality of the capitalist system.
His works have been exhibited in major museums around the world.

Madrid, 1978. Photographer and filmmaker. As a photographer, he has been working for over two decades with various national and international media outlets, as well as collaborating with different international brands. His short film
De l’inconvénient d’être né was a philosophical balancing act, creating visuals inspired by the texts of Emil Cioran, an untimely Romanian writer and philosopher. The film was selected for numerous festivals. He is the director and screenwriter of the upcoming TV series
Artlas, a documentary series about the creative processes of several international artists. He is currently immersed in writing his first fiction feature film.
