SYNOPSIS Mujer, papel y tijera explores the world of publishing from the perspective of thirteen influential women publishers from Spain and Latin America. Through their stories, the documentary reveals the diversity, richness, and global impact of the Spanish and Catalan book industry. These women share their experiences with publishing policies, the challenges of sustainable production, and the role of artificial intelligence, highlighting how their decisions have shaped literature.

Ana Gallego Cuiñas She is a professor of Latin American Literature at the University of Granada and a renowned international expert in the publishing market, cultural industries, and materialist feminism. Her books include Las novelas argentinas del siglo XXI: Nuevos modos de producción, circulación y recepción (2019) and Cultura literaria y políticas de mercado: editoriales, ferias y festivales (2022). She has led the research projects ECOEDIT, FEMENEDIT, and FEMENDATA, and is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Granada.
