SYNOPSIS The Saldañas have a new chore to take the boredom out of their summer: house-sitting for their neighbors, the Pernas. And while they’re at it, they intend to enjoy their own vacations… until the disappearance of the Pernas’ dog sparks a violent, psychologically-charged confrontation between the two families.

Gerardo Minutti He holds a BA in Social Communication and has ten years of experience as a cultural journalist. In 2013, the Fund to Incentivize Artistic Education and Creation, established by Uruguay’s Ministry of Education and Culture, awarded him a grant to develop a screenplay project under the mentorship of director and writer Pablo Stoll, writer Laura Santullo, and executive producer Sandino Saravia. This project resulted in the first version of Perros. In 2018, Minutti made the short fiction film Hogar, which received a Special Jury Mention at the Biarritz Latin Film Festival (France) and was selected for the Official Ibero-American Competition at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (Mexico).
