SYNOPSIS The Vallois twins, 18-year-old pianists, enroll at the Karlsruhe Academy under the guidance of Klaus Lenhardt, fulfilling their father’s dream. Their career is jeopardized when one of them develops a rare condition affecting her hands, halting her progress. Although her sister continues to shine, both soon face the same adversity. Unable to imagine their lives without the piano, they create a unique technique together, reaffirming their talent and becoming, more than ever, 'prodigious'.
