SYNOPSIS A chimera. An oasis of freedom. A refuge in dark times. The literature of the 20th century silenced by decay. The house of Nobel laureate Vicente Aleixandre holds within its crumbling walls the blossoming of the Generation of '27, the committed voice of Pablo Neruda, the rugged embrace of Miguel Hernández, the yearning for freedom of Carmen Conde, and the dreams of young writers in a Spain on the brink of modernity. Velintonia cries out to be what it once was. Let the poets return.
