SYNOPSIS What if the thoughts that weigh on you wouldn’t let you move forward? Ale moves to a new city only to discover that the hardest thing to carry isn’t the luggage, but the weight of everything left behind. To let go is born from the vertigo of starting from zero. It speaks about how difficult it is to adapt, to let go of what weighs on you, to recognise that change is also a form of growth, and to keep moving forward without really knowing how, but with the certainty that everything begins by learning to let go.
Miguel Medrano Malo A storyteller and animator from La Rioja, he studied Fine Arts at UCM in Madrid, though he has always been drawing and writing stories. He is the author of The Mercury Diamond (2011) and On Happiness and Why Tunas Don’t Understand Good Weather (2020). In 2025 he directed the animated short film Marcharse and is currently co-directing Is There a Dead Body in the Room? FILMOGRAPHY Marcharse (short film, 2025)
