SYNOPSIS Leopoldo Panero, the poet, died in Astorga, where he had been born, in 1962. Fourteen years later, those closest to him, Felicidad Blanc, his widow, and their three children, recall that hot day in August. The memory extends beyond that date, giving rise to other experiences. Through words and journeys across rooms, objects, streets, and lost places, the story unfolds of years and people bound by family ties, who at no point shy away from expressing their differences and individual identities.
Jaime Chávarri

Prominent Spanish director, screenwriter, and actor, he is a key figure in the cinema of the Transition and the following decades. A law graduate, he studied at the Official School of Cinematography and worked for several years as a film critic for the magazine Film Ideal. He maintained close generational and creative ties with the auteur filmmakers who emerged in the 1970s and 1980s, such as Víctor Erice and Carlos Saura. However, it was his collaboration with producer Elías Querejeta that led to the most recognized and compelling part of his work with the documentary El desencanto (1976).
