The animated short films were screened today in the Animazine section of the Festival
Hall 2 of Cine Albéniz saw thirteen shorts filmed in 2D, 3D and stop motion animation
The animated short films of the Animazine section were screened this Monday afternoon at the 27th Festival de Málaga, colouring the screen and filling it with magical universes. This is the last screening of the short films that will compete for the Biznagas this year, and that in this section groups thirteen pieces that have been screened in a single programme.
The presentation of the short films was attended by some of their directors:
Víctor Monigote (‘Wan’),
Guillermo Ordás (‘La suerte de Katalina’),
Nacho Arjona (‘Homework’),
Guillermo Garzón and
Carlos Beceiro (‘Dennis’),
Ben Fernández (‘Mortelli, un cas perdut’),
Anna Juesas and
Sonia Sánchez (‘First coin’),
Marc Riba and
Anna Solanas (‘Todos mis colores’),
Paco Sáez and
José Luis Quirós (‘Estimada Ángela’), and
Lorena Ares and
Carlos F. de Vigo (‘Cafuné’).
A furious chase in the jungle between a fierce-looking hominid, an old man and a hyena-dog; a woman who gets caught up in a war; a 3D story about the life of a pencil and his friends in a school classroom, or a critical account of today's world through birds, are just some of the stories we have been able to enjoy in the Animazine section.
