SYNOPSIS Judith is a 42-year-old librarian who has been laid off and has to go back to college to cash in on a scholarship she was awarded due to a bureaucratic error. In order to hide her age, she undergoes a makeover designed by two twenty-something girls, which will lead her to believe she is her new person.
Lorena Iglesias Lorena Iglesias is the co-founder of the Canódromo Abandonado collective, where she combines acting, co-directing, and comedy writing with film and stand-up through a critical and personal lens. Her latest project is the series Millennial Mal, which emerged from a residency at the Academia de CIne. She has co-written films such as Balearic and Alumbramiento, and has acted in movies like Anoche conquisté Tebas, La Parra, and Balearic. Andrea Jaurrieta Film director and screenwriter, with a Master’s degree in Film Directing from ESCAC, and a former fellow of the Spanish Academy in Rome. Her debut feature film, Ana de día (2018), was nominated for the Goya Award for Best New Director. Her second feature, Nina, won the Critics’ Award at the Málaga Film Festival in 2024. She has directed the series Cochinas (Prime Video) and Millennial Mal (Filmin). She combines her audiovisual work with teaching at TAI, Central de Cine, and IED, and runs her own production company, Lasai Films.
