The violinist will make a stop in Malaga on the 10th of March for his latest tour, 'The Ara Malikian World Tour'
05/03/24.- The second show of Ara Malikian's closing concert at the 27th Malaga Festival, which was going to take place on Sunday the 10th at 10:00 p.m. at the Teatro Cervantes, has been postponed to Monday the 11th at 8:00 p.m. due to health reasons, according to the artist's office. The concert scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday the 10th will be held as normal.
‘Unfortunately, due to health reasons he has recently been faced with, we are forced to make a change to the scheduled date. This decision has been made after a careful evaluation of Ara Malikian's medical situation. After overcoming a severe illness and testing his strength last weekend, it has been determined that he is currently not in fit condition to go forward with the effort and passion required to offer two concerts in a single day. We deeply regret any inconvenience this change may cause’, they explain in their statement.
Those with tickets for the concert on Sunday at 10:00 p.m. who want to keep their seats will have them reserved for the concert on the 11th. Those who prefer to opt for a refund may do so by writing to the email
jguzman@malagaprocultura.com, stating their details. For this audience, tickets purchased online and by telephone will be returned to the account in which the payment was made; those purchased at the box office can be returned at the window from today until Saturday, 9th of March at 8:30 p.m.
Ara Malikian makes a stop in our city as part of his The Ara Malikian World Tour, with which he is filling theatres and auditoriums in countless cities with a show dedicated to the strength and freedom of childhood. ‘It is a show dedicated to the strength and freedom of childhood, to my son and to me at his age’, says Malikian. ‘When I saw my son walk for the first time after months of falls, failed attempts, blows and trying again, I understood that at one point we were all a force that time makes us forget’, explains the violinist about the origin of this show, based around childhood.
