Collaboration agreement with the 29th Festival de Málaga
The Director General of Canal Sur, Juande Mellado, and the Director of the Festival de Málaga, Juan Antonio Vigar, signed a collaboration agreement this Monday, 16 February, at the Hotel Málaga Palacio. This agreement formalises RTVA's commitment as a collaborator of the Festival, thus fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility Plan regarding its commitment to culture.
Canal Sur will broadcast the Festival's Opening and/or Closing Galas on some of its channels and will also cover the events scheduled to promote the Festival. During the festival, both general news programmes and specialised programmes will include content related to the event, on both radio and television.
Furthermore, coinciding with the Festival's schedule of activities, Canal Sur will broadcast a selection of films and documentaries that may have been selected or awarded prizes in previous editions of the Festival, as well as other Spanish-language productions in which Canal Sur has participated, across its film programmes on both Canal Sur TV and Andalucía TV at various time slots.
RTVA dedicates special effort to promoting the Andalusian audiovisual sector through two fundamental instruments: the financing of audiovisual products and the collaboration agreements it maintains with most of the film festivals held in our region.
