Decían que aquí no había ná and Montse, la última bodega, jury awards at the ninth edition of Cinema Cocina
The winners received their biznagas at the traditional gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Miramar

The Festival de Málaga, organised by Malaga City Council through Malaga Procultura, announced the winners of Cinema Cocina on Thursday 12th March at a gala dinner held at the Gran Hotel Miramar In this ninth edition, the gastronomic section of the competition brought together almost a dozen feature and short films that highlight the richness of gastronomic culture from a cinematographic point of view.

The gala dinner was attended by the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre; Mariana Pineda, Councillor for Culture and Historical Heritage of Málaga City Council; Francisco Reyes Martínez, President of the Provincial Council of Jaén; Héctor Moro, Marketing Director of Emilio Moro; Purificación González Camacho, Deputy Director General for the Promotion of Spanish Food; Sergio Ragel, Head of External Relations of Cervezas Victoria, and Juan Antonio Vigar, Manager of Málaga Procultura and Director of the Festival de Málaga.

The attendees were able to enjoy a welcome aperitif in the Salón Victoria, consisting of AOVEs from Jaén, cheeses from Málaga and Jaén, oysters, Iberian ham and sushi. They then moved on to the Royal Hall where the gala dinner was held, with the following dishes: 
 
  • Pipirrana de Jaén, by Juan Mesa, from Restaurante Radis (Jaén)
  • Chanterelles and pumpkin hollandaise, by Daniel Ochoa,  Restaurante Montia (Madrid)
  • Cold stew of beans and pickled partridge, by Juan Aceituno, from the Restaurant Dama Juana (Jaén)
  • River trout with its pilpil sauce and rinran, by Javier Jurado, from Restaurante Malak (Jaén)
  • Bread, olive oil from La Era and chocolate, by Toño Rodríguez, from Restaurant La Era de los Nogales (Huesca)
 
CINEMA COCINA 2026 AWARDS
 
The event, once again presented by Celia Bermejo, started with the presentation of the Cinema Cocina awards of the 29th Festival de Málaga, the winners of which were chosen by the jury composed of José Miguel Herrero, Director General of the Food Industry at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; Jacobo Gavira, designer, plastic artist and member of the Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy; Sacha Hormaechea, chef, and Paco Cruz Rivera, director of The Food Manager.
 
Biznaga de Plata 'Cervezas Victoria' jury award for the best Cinema Cocina feature film, worth 4000 euros: 
Decían que aquí no había ná (They said there was nothing here), by Jorge Fernández Mayoral
 
Biznaga de Plata ‘Bodega Emilio Moro’, audience award for the best feature film in Cinema Cocina, with a prize of 2,000 euros:
Todos los días domingo (Every Sunday), by Abraham López Feria.
 
Biznaga de Plata ‘Alimentos de España’ jury award for best short film at Cinema Cocina:
Montse, la penúltima bodega (Montse, the penultimate winery), by Jordi Busquets, Víctor Solsona and David Salvador.
 
Biznaga de Plata ‘Diputación de Jaén’ audience award for best short film at Cinema Cocina:
Montse, la penúltima bodega (Montse, the penultimate winery), by Jordi Busquets, Víctor Solsona and David Salvador.
