Argentine cinema and the Festival de Málaga celebrate their idyllic relationship
The guests from the audiovisual industry of the Latin American country present in this 27th edition of the contest meet with the director, Juan Antonio Vigar

The Festival de Málaga has always pursued the enhancement of Spanish-language cinema and the rapprochement of the Spanish industry with the Latin American industry. Proof of this is the creation of the 20th edition of the Málaga Industry Zone (MAFIZ), an industry area of the contest that aims to promote the dissemination and promotion of Ibero-American cinematography through various activities and events to learn about and strengthen productions in Spanish, outside of Spain.

To celebrate this, a meeting was held at the Teatro Cervantes with the members of the Cine Argentino Unidos platform, which was attended by the Argentine guests present this edition, taking advantage of the occasion to take a family photo in celebration of the contest's commitment to include and give visibility to the South American country's audiovisual sector in its programming.

Daniela Fejerman, director and screenwriter; Vanina Spataro, producer; Claudia Piñeiro, writer and screenwriter; Marcelo Piñeyro, director and screenwriter honoured with the Retrospective Award – Málaga Hoy in this edition; Joaquín Furriel, actor; Julieta Zylberberg, actress; Alfonso Tort, actor; Ariel Rotter, director and screenwriter; Sandra Gugliotta, director and screenwriter; and Sabrina Farji, director, screenwriter and producer, are some of the renowned figures of Argentine film who have met and posed in a historic image for the Festival de Málaga, along with the director of the event, Juan Antonio Vigar.
