SYNOPSIS Deep in the back allies of the literary underworld, forgotten, lay our teenage diaries. The film builds an archive with these invisible writtings, imagines possible interactions with it and records its destruction. A feminist film-zine that conjures personal shame through communal discourse while reconciling with the process of writing and rewriting in relation to life, personal journaling and, finally, the creative process of a filmmaker going through a rough patch. We live narrating ourselves.
Xiana do Teixeiro
A Galician filmmaker, producer, and researcher, works from an ecofeminist perspective. Her first feature film,
All The Women I Know (2018), is a multi-awarded film that has successfully bridged the fields of feminist activism, education, and creative expression, becoming one of the most-watched documentaries in classrooms and social spaces. Co-writer and producer of the ecological essay
Wild, Wild like Best Documentary at Málaga (2024). She is also the co-founder of Animala and Walkie Talkie Films.
